MY STORY

My name is Grandpa Stax. Most people know me as Earl or "That Guy who Draws Alot." I am a young designer with college experience and a heart to create. STAX is a name and brand I created for myself based solely on my desire to one day be a full time artist with a cool name and an extensive resume. "Grandpa" is for my desire to live forever whether it be my physical being or through my art.
I was born in August of '99 in a small Louisiana town comprised of my very southern and extensive family. From a young age I became fascinated with art and my own imagination. I began drawing daily as a child surrounded by numerous coloring books and sketchpads. Around the end of 2nd grade my immediate family decided to migrate to Texas and we settled in the metropolis of Houston.
Fast forward a few years and many more headaches, I have begun to illustrate digitally and freely with the dream of one day becoming bigger and better at what I do. I have done everything from designing tattoos, designing album covers, portraits, and the occasional logo design. I currently dabble in merchandise design but I want to expand the STAX brand into a multi-dimensional company dedicated to being creative and expressive.
